Baxenden Concert Band
A former band member came back off his holidays and declared that he had had a great time but for one problem. Apparently he had not been able to sleep because other hotel guests had been constantly shouting and banging on his walls and door throughout the night. However, determined not to let it spoil his holiday, he continued to while away the hours practising his bagpipes!
P.S. We don't need a replacement!
We are pleased to welcome new players on any instruments of the concert band line up, but we are currently especially keen to recruit:
- Flute
- Horns
- Bass Trombone
- 2nd Tuba
- Trumpet or Cornet

Baxenden Concert Band is especially pleased to support the work of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, particularly as one of our most established members is afflicted with MS. The annual "Cake Break" is an ever popular event despite the problems of crumbs getting into the works!
